Love is a promise of all good things, and the circle of love just keeps growing larger if we allow it. But we must nurture it like a garden and tend it with care. Keeping out the weeds. Weeds of bitterness, envy, hatred, and greed. Then we must water it with prayer.

11.3.09...So very much has happened since I last blogged. There have been so many different types of living these last 3 months. We planned and enjoyed our Gatlinburg vacation with my parents. We were able to get a 2 Bedroom cabin, and all throughly enjoyed our time together as a family. We came home on Friday, Oct. 16th. Started celebrating my father's 58th birthday on Monday evening the 19th. We were trying to get ahold of my father's mother so she could come celebrate with us here at our house. Finally....after many attempts to calling my dad and my brother went to her place and she was laying at the front door unconscious. To have a brief summary of the next few hours. The local hospital confirmed that she had a massive cerebral hemorrhage. We life flighted her to St. Thomas in Nashville and they confirmed everything they had said here. She was brain dead. She made it until around 12:30 pm on Tuesday. We had her visitation on Wednesday, Thursday and the funeral on Friday. It all just seems so unreal and fast. MY GRANDMOTHER IS GONE! My son's only Great grandmother is no longer here to brighten up just at the sight of him coming thru the door. There will be no longer any of those sweet kisses goodbye. I miss her so much.....
9.11.09....Today we remember what is important about life and stand proud to be an American! I remember I was sitting at work scheduling appointments for Tullahoma Pediatrics. I got a page from David that is when he informed me with what had just happened. I can remember thinking but not really grasping actually what had just transpired....but soon I was watching it on CNN and couldn't believe it was here in America! 7.10.2009....We have been busy this summer. The first part of July we went to our Church Family Camp in Pell City, AL. We enjoyed seeing our christian brother and sisters. It is always good to get spiritually fueled for living. We celebrated the 4th of July there. We were able to get a room next to my parents so we enjoyed the family time of eating and being together. Mother knows how to fix for her kids even though we were not home. I am so blessed to have Godly parents that want us with them at camp more than anything else. 6.10.09....Looking back His mercies I See...He's been Faithful to me. I love this song. It is so true in my life. I am so blessed to be raise in a loving christian home that always taught us to love and do right. Even though we may be raise this way we still have to make the decisions in our own life how we are going to live. He has always been there for me to ask direction and help in Big or small decisions. The older I become the more I realize how blessed I am to serve a BIG God. April 30, 2009...Happy 57 th Birthday to my mother. I love you so much and so thankful to God that you are my mother. We were not able to celebrate today but I'm sure we will be this weekend. Olive Garden here we come. ;) No doubt a little shopping....isn't that what women do. lol April 20, 2009....This past weekend we enjoyed getting to see Granny and Pawpaw Batchelor, Uncle Josh, Aunt Jen, Uncle John, and their 2 children McKinley and Michael. Time spent together is always too short! We enjoyed all going out to eat at the Mexican restaurant and then going back the granny and pawpaws to visit. We went to church in Selma then left to go to Prattville to be with Jennifer, John and the children for the afternoon. Jennifer decided to have an Easter egg hunt for McKinley and Aaron. It was sweet to see the kids play together. March 25, 2009....My brother, Nathan got married on March 14th in North Carolina to Debbie Evans. Congratulations to you both. May the Lord bless you and give you many happy years of marriage bliss. You may take a look of their wedding slideshow at www.rethinksreal.com March 12, 2009...We enjoyed the nice warm days and have taken advantage to be outside as much as possible. Sparky and Skippy have also enjoyed us being outdoors with them I'm sure! March 2009.....On the first day of March we woke up on Sunday morning to have a snow day from God. We enjoyed having the day to be with family and to enjoy the beautiful scene that our Lord made. 1/19/2009......David and I now have our first nephew, John Michael. We are excited about going to see him very soon. He weighed 9lb 2 oz. 20 1/2" long. Congratulations to John, Jennifer, and his big sis, McKinley! 12/1/2008Where has this year gone? Once again I'm fretting over getting the house all decorated for the holidays. I do enjoy but probably go over board since it only stays up for about a month. I love to have it homey for my husband, son, family and friend to have fond memories. We had our christmas parade the Saturday after Thanksgiving and it's started snowing today so I truly have the christmas spirit...all my favorite tunes playing.....and enjoying all the holiday goodies to eat. Thank you dear Jesus for all our many blessing that we so quickly forget about and for the many wonderful traditions that we have because you came down to earth....to walk as we walk and to give us an example of how to live. This truly is the Christian's holiday! 10/21/2008Today's been a hard day. Seems like everyone woke up on the wrong side of the bed. Leaving the house to go to preschool Aaron tripped and scuffed up his nose pretty good. Guess we won't be getting pictures done till it heals. Ahhh..... This evening has gone a lot better. After supper we all got out in the garage and cleaned it up and put some boxes up in the attic. Makes us feel alot better when we feel we've actually accomplished something. I feel now I'm ready for the holiday season to come so I'll have room enough to get stuff out of the attic and decorate to my hearts desire. :o) 9/25/2008Does everyone else have the problem of not having enough time in the day? I feel my life has been all work and no play. A friend that I work with sent me an email about how we worry about things that don't even matter.....such as the dust in our homes (to afraid someone will come over and catch our house in disarray) when we rarely have anyone to come. The email made me stop and realize that I have been to consumed with cleaning, getting those fall decorations out, and just the ordinary things that we think we must do. I totally became aware that I was not really enjoying life the way I should. I need to SLOW down and enjoy every moment with my husband, son and most importantly spend more time in communication with my heavenly father. It really convicted me. I must take the time to focus and enjoy the most important things in my life. 9/16/08I am reminded everyday how blessed we are. What do people do without a Savior? There are many times that I need him near to help me and guide me. I was talking with a co worker and they felt there should be a separation between church and state. I fear the day that God is taken out of our government. I think of my little boy and strive to keep our heritage in front of him and it scares me to think there are americans that don't want to acknowledge HIM. Christians we must PRAY and be leaders. 9/6/08I'm sitting here having a yard sale today. It is already afternoon and it has slacked up a bit. Today it is so pleasant here in Manchester. There is a breeze and we've just enjoyed being home together chillin out while making a few bucks! :o) We've just found out that we are going to have a new nephew sometime in January. So happy for Jennifer and John!!! Anxious for Aaron to have another little fellow to play with. Congratulations Jennifer, John & McKinley!!!! 9/3/2008 I'm totally pumped about the RNC convention. We've got to get back to the basic of being a Strong Christian Nation and standing up for right and wrong. Vote McCain / Palin........... 9/1/08Happy Labor Day! This weekend we just stayed home and got some needed chores done. I am glad to be off with my two favorite boys. David ask me if I wanted to go to Olive Garden. I don't know we will see. I always enjoy eating there. Sometimes it is good to just be able to stay home and not have to go anywhere. I am looking forward to watching the RNC. We are very happy with McCain's choice of VP. 8/25/2008The weekend was a little hectic with to much to do. David is getting over a cold and Aaron seems like he is getting a sore thoat. When will it end.... 8/23/08The 3 of us enjoyed going to Olive Garden last night. Yum yum... Then I tried going clothes shopping. I get so frustrated trying to find something that doesn't show it all. I was able to find one skirt that was marked down to $8.99 at JcPenny's. I like those kind of finds. Aaron enjoyed playing in the play yard in front of JcPenny's while I looked. As we were leaving though, he spotted Chuck E Cheese and threw a fit. It seems the more you do for them the more they want, doesn't it....Needless to say we told him no and said you've played enough already. Time to get home and get to bed. We've got a full day today and then we've got a mission service tomorrow at church with Mark & Melodie Sankey and boys. Looking forward to that and then a church dinner afterwards. Yummy. Our church ladies sure do know how to fix. 8/19/08Aaron and I are relaxing this morning since we had a long night last night. Daddy was up late working on putting a water pump in his jeep. We are all glad that is accomplished.... Boy am I tired. Let Aaron play in the pool today and then he went with grandma & grandpa to McDonald's. Uncle Nate was to sing the National Anthem at the ballgame. My hubby came home from work with a sore thoat. Praying that we all don't get it. I have one more day off and then back to the work grind. 8/18/08Today Aaron and I enjoyed a day at home. We were able to get out and play in the spinkler. What JOY it is to watch the face of your child. Thank you... Dear Lord, for the blessings of my life!
